Giving Thanks

Starting a project/sharing a passion/starting a business like this takes a lot of time and effort.  And I think there are a few things you need to do it. 

One, is a passion.  I love fashion and beauty, as well as my pups, so I’ve got that one down. 

Two, is the knowledge and a willingness to grow that knowledge.  I’ve been “studying” (aka buying and using) products for as long as I can remember.  I was around 14 when I picked out my first pair of heels.  They were a pair of patent leather booties with a 2 inch block heel.  I loved those and they started my obsession with always wanting to look cute! 

But third, and most important is having people around you who are there for you and support you.  My friends know who they are.  When I told them I wanted to start a blog, they backed me up 100% and I am so thankful for that. 

But mostly, I want to thank 2 people. 

One is my husband.  He always supports me and encourages me to do what will make me happy. 

The second is my friend Lauren.  She is a graphic designer and photographer.  Without her, I would have been lost trying to set up a web page.  She helped me get this baby set up with hosting, picking a design, importing it, and basic set up.  And when I needed photos to get the ball rolling, she was ready and willing to make a trip to the Houston Flower Wall.  She made my cover photo and logo and I am so thankful for that!
