New Years Outfit Ideas!

With New Years 2019 now less than 2 weeks away, you may be wondering…what should I wear?

If I’m going out for New Years, I like to go all out! It’s been a few years since I’ve ventured out to ring in the New Year somewhere other than my home. My husband and I like to have a nice dinner and head home early to enjoy some champagne and watch the ball drop with our furbabies. But this year is a little different as it’s my BFF’s 40th birthday! So we are going ALL out and it’s gonna be a blast!

Outfit #1

I actually wore this to my company’s Christmas Party last weekend. I really loved it! It’s a little more conservative with the higher neckline and cap sleeves, but it’s got a little sass at the bottom with the layered ruffle. I paired it with a pair of patent d’orsay pumps that fade from leopard in the front to black in the back. They added the perfect amount of animal print to this otherwise simple, but gorgeous, little black dress. I see myself wearing this dress for many occasions in the future!

Option #2

This dress y’all! I have actually had this dress for years and have worn it on many occasions! It comes out each season in a different colorway, and every time it is equally as beautiful. Fully sequined, this baby will get you noticed! It is comfortable too! This season, it’s in white, black and gold which is PERFECT for New Years. I paired it with timeless Louboutins, another great investment. I purchased these pumps in 2009, had the red rubber soles put on at my cobbler, and they have stayed in great condition. If you want to invest in a pair of shoes, ones like these are a staple and worth the money!

Option #3 (And my actual New Years outfit!)

I decided to mix it up a little this year, but I love this outfit just as much as the others. This sweater was the surprise of the season! I originally had the skirt paired with a sleeveless turtleneck top and decided since it was probably going to be cold (but I mean who knows…this is Texas!), that I wanted something a little warmer. I found this off-the-shoulder lightweight sweater and took a chance. WOW…its just awesome. So soft, so perfect! The skirt is great too. Similar to the sequined dress above, its comfortable and I know it will get me many wears. And of course, my favorite boots of the season. I’ve shown these several times on my Instagram account (please go follow me HERE) in brown, and I love them so much, I got them in black too! I cant wait to wear this little number out on the town in 10 days!
