Amazon Fashion, Winter Edition
One of the most talked about places to buy clothing right now is Amazon. Are you a Prime member? Because I am, and it’s a dangerous thing! I could peruse Amazon for hours and find all kinds of things I may or may not need. But the fashion intrigues me the most.
It’s a gamble. You see a top that’s really cute on the model, but the reviews might be mixed. What size do you order? What will quality be like? All questions I asked myself! And after researching for what felt like forever, I purchased my items.
And to be honest, I returned half of the things I bought. But you know what? It wasn’t because they didn’t fit, or were bad quality. It was simply because I just ended up not liking the items for myself, the same as any other reason I would return something!
In an effort to take the guesswork out of it for you, I’ve rounded up three items I was extremely pleased with from Amazon. Here they are, in no particular order…
This “leather” skirt is perfect for so many reasons. 1) It’s a flattering fit. 2) It’s the perfect length. Not too short, but not too long either! 3) It’s comfortable and versatile. I’ve paired it with a few tops here, and the possibilites are endless! 4) It’s available in A LOT of colors. I’ve got the brown one on my list next and it also comes in burgandy, green, navy, and red. And 5) It’s under $25!!!
I think this skirt would also transition into spring with a tank top or tee and some cute tennis shoes for a casual look too!

Next up is this comfy, cowl neck tunic top:
I love this top! It has thousands of ratings averaging about 4.5 stars on amazon and because of that I can’t believe I have yet to see another blogger mention it!
The button detailing on the cowl neck and pockets is cute. It’s soft and lightweight, but not thin. This is great because it means it’s a good layering piece. Adding a jacket on top would be easy as this top doesn’t add much bulk. It comes in 7 colors. I purchased it in a large, which is my normal size, and I could have stood to go up to an XL for extra room, but the large is in no way tight. This top is long enough to wear with leggings too! And last, but not least, this super popular, get the look for less, pullover:
This was one of the styles of the season! The asymmetrical neckline and longer length had everyone running to a popular retailer to get a top similar to this for twice the price. I have the other one too and they each have their pros and cons. This Amazon top is slightly lighter material and is more fuzzy than fleecy. I actually don’t mind that because 1) its warmer in Houston and the lighter material is more comfortable for me, and 2) its less attractive to dog hair than the more fleecy material. I know, #dogmomproblems. LOL!
Anyway, this is a great alternative to the more popular brands. Its only $27, comes in 7 colors, and has over 700 Amazon reviews with an average of 4 stars. I’m wearing a large, so it’s true to size, and its long enough to wear with leggings! I got it in blue, but I also love the black and green versions as well. Get yours HERE!
