Cru Day Spa – The Experience!
As one who doesn’t spend a lot of time in the spa, but has some major experience with facials (they are my favorite spa splurge), I was super excited when Cru Day Spa contacted me to collaborate!
I visited last Friday, right after a long week at work, and it was a very welcomed experience! The staff was friendly and inviting and I was more than happy to relax in their waiting area while Reyna, my aesthetician, was getting ready to give me one of their signature organic facials and a dermaplaning treatment, which I added on as an extra “treat yo self” service.
Once in my room, Reyna gave me plenty of time to get changed and comfortably situated for my facial. She started by double cleansing my face and then we got right into the dermaplaning. And y’all…there were baby hair removed than I would like to admit!
After that, she applied a rose toner, which smelled amazing and felt great. And then she applied a “fine wine” serum, and you know that was right up my alley! After that, she applied a jelly mask that contained collagen. It covered my mouth and eyes, and it felt so good, I didn’t mind one bit!
After letting the mask sit for a bit, it peeled right off and my face felt baby bottom smooth! Reyna told me to try not to touch my face for a bit and even though that was hard, I complied as I wanted to get the most of out my treatments.
The real test came on Sunday, two day after my facial, when I applied makeup for brunch with a friend. You guys…my skin was so smooth, my makeup looked airbrushed and lasted all day! So, I’m sold.
My experience at the spa was wonderful, relaxing, and did wonders for my skin. Reyna was very sweet and explained everything she was doing.
